How to Access Your SiteBoard Settings Using the Built-in Hotspot

Automatic Hotspot Activation
For devices running version 2.28 and above, the hotspot will automatically start when your SiteBoard has been offline for more than 30 minutes. This ensures you can always access your device settings even when your primary internet connection is down.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Ensure Your SiteBoard is Offline
Make sure your SiteBoard device has been offline for at least 30 minutes (for version 2.28+) or manually activate the hotspot if available on your version.
2. Access Your WiFi Settings
On any WiFi-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, PC, or laptop), open your WiFi settings to view available networks.
3. Locate the DAKboard network.
Look for one of the following network names in your WiFi list:
- DAKboard (for devices running version 3.0 and above)
- DAKboard-{Your Serial Number} (for devices running version 2.31 and below)
4. Connect to the Hotspot
Click on the SiteBoard network to connect. If prompted for a password, enter: dakb5142
5. Open Your Web Browser
Once connected to the SiteBoard hotspot, open any web browser on your device.
6. Access the Settings Page
In your browser's address bar, type the following URL: http://10.0.0.5
This will open your DABoard's settings page where you can configure your device.
